The Home Economics programme prepares its practitioners for different the activities related to household management.

Topics covered include household finance, interior design, food preparation and nutrition, sanitation practices, and clothing and apparel.

  1. At least five (5) CSEC subjects (Grades 1 or 2; or Grade 3 from June 1998) or GCE equivalent. These five subjects should include English A and Mathematics.
  2. In addition, applicants must have:
    • CSEC Pass in Food & Nutrition, Clothing & Textiles and/or an Associate Degree in Hospitality Studies.
