About Tourism Studies and Sustainability

The Associate Degree in Tourism Studies and Sustainability exposes students to the ins and outs of tourism management, with an emphasis on adopting sustainable approaches to the industry's development.

Learners will be equipped to contribute meaningfully to tourism sector, having the knowledge and experience to work in fields such as policy, planning and management, destination management, and travel.

Entry Requirements

  1. Required passes (Grades 1, 2; or Grade 3 from June 1998) in English A, Mathematics, French OR Spanish and Food & Nutrition OR Social Studies and at least TWO of the following:
    • Economics
    • Geography
    • Principles of Accounts
    • Principles of Business
    • Social Studies
  2. In addition, all candidates who have not passed CSEC French or Spanish will be required to register for and successfully complete an access course in the subject area prior to registration.
