The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College hosted a two-day consultation with stakeholders in the Agricultural sector as the College seeks to redesign its programmes and offerings at the Division of Agriculture. The consultation took place on 25th and 26th July 2019 at the College’s Extension to the CARPHA Building. As the College moves forward with its 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, one of its goals is to offer innovative programmes that meet workforce requirements and standards for quality tertiary education.
Participants in the consultation included officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and private sector stakeholders in the agricultural industry. They offered input in identifying the focus of the Division’s programme and training offerings, potential target groups and preferred modes of delivery for the various offerings. College representatives included the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Vice Principal, Dean of the Division of Agriculture, Manager of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, and other members of Management and staff of the College.
