From July 28th to August 3rd 2021, principals, school administrators and senior teachers from forty (40) schools in Saint Lucia were engaged in Digital Education Leadership Training courtesy of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.
The programme, Digital Leadership Training for Educational Administrators, was a collaboration between the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College’s eLearning Academy and The Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF). The Taiwan ICDF is dedicated to boosting socio-economic development, enhancing human resources and promoting economic relations in a range of developing partner countries.
The workshop responded to the growing need for capacity in Technology Enabled Instruction among practitioners in Saint Lucia’s education system. The Digital Leadership Training forms part of a broader project which seeks to help educators and administrators respond to changes and innovation in education, explore context relevant tools and approaches in digital education, and develop and employ frameworks in which to implement digital education.
